One of our greatest joys in life is sharing the experiences we had and the learnings we gathered during our expeditions. As we are both avid writers, one of the ways we love to do so is through writing stories for web and print. It’s extraordinary to see how a collection of words can evoke strong emotions. More often than once, we’ve heard that our stories inspired people to take up life on the road themselves, igniting a curiosity to explore further
We have a plethora of experiences that we can’t wait to share with the world. Think about getting stuck for 24 hours in deep mud, in a National Park nonetheless, or about being spontaneously invited by a Moroccan family while you don’t speak a single word in their language.
Are you affiliated with a website or magazine interested in outdoor lifestyle, overlanding, adventure, or travel content? Or are you seeking a personal story about leaving a traditional live behind, the mechanical challenges on the road, or a country-specific deep-dive? We’d love to collaborate!

“Even the lowest point in the country is still 1,400 meters above sea level, the landscape is rugged, the roads are adventurous – welcome to Lesotho, the kingdom of the mountains. On her road trip in a Land Rover Defender through the southern African country, Manon Verijdt meets Basotho shepherds wrapped in colorful Moshoeshoe blankets, stops at the highest pub in Africa and hikes through the Ts’ehlanyane National Park to enjoy the magical sight of the three Mats’a-Mararo waterfalls.”

Land Rover Monthly Magazine
”Our suspension is creaking, every fiber in our body is vibrating, and we are rocking uncontrollably from left to right. The road is bumpy and dusty, and the temperature outside is burning hot. Our windows are rolled down completely to let the wind blow through and to cool us off. The dust from underneath our tires luckily stays behind the car. It is, as a matter of fact, the only thing we leave behind on these trails. Although these roads are tough, even for a 23-year-old Land Rover, this is what a typical day in our Defender looks like.”
