Would we buy it again?

Yes, we would get the Stanley Shot Glasses again. The first few years of our adventure we used to carry glass ones that broke, cheap stainless steel versions that were unpleasant to the lips, and then finally upgraded to these high-end stainless steel glasses from Stanley. Comparing the cheap versions with these makes it abundantly clear we should’ve gotten them years ago. They are comfortable and durable, store away neatly, and provide a luxurious toasting experience in the bush.

They are only shot glasses, but they will make your evenings memorable, that’s for sure! Cheers to that!

Our approach for gear reviews

As long-term overlanders we fully understand the need for high-quality and reliable gear. We know that if gear isn’t up to standard it can hinder your adventures, resulting in discomfort or a dangerous situation.

We write our reviews after extensive testing and with you – an adventurous overlander – in mind. We hope you appreciate our information, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Pro tip

If you have a freezer in your overland vehicle, make sure to bring along some ice cubes. We use reusable silicon ice cubes which work perfectly, as they don’t spill, don’t use water, and won’t dilute your drink.
