Now why would you plan a call to get to know all this, instead of looking for all the information you need, for free and online? We understand this scenario might sound appealing as well. But, from what we’ve heard and seen from our followers on social media and visitors to the website, it’s much nicer to get information first-hand from someone who has done the same thing as you’re about to do, and it’s much less confusing. It’s about valuable information that’s useful, clear, and will help you directly.

As we are full-time overlanders ourselves, focused on remote travel (in Europe and Africa, for now), bush camping, working on the road, photography, wildlife, and adventure, we might know (or have experienced) a thing or two that you’re wondering about right now. We are ready to share all those experiences and our knowledge with you, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes as us -- and you don't have to worry about all those tiny things once you're on the road.

Why call?

Then why do we have to call? Although we would love to answer everyone and every question asked on social media, it’s very hard to dive deep into a topic and explain a whole scenario clearly. Often, questions pop up as the result of an answer we just provided, resulting in a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth. Hopping on a call is easy, you know exactly when and where you will get the information you’ve been looking for and you get to ask all the questions you want! This call is about you and your trip!

Oh, and if it isn't clear yet, we think this call could save you money! We have sent boxes full of non-essentials home after traveling for months (expensive, yikes!), we have bought an extra lithium battery to suffice the daily charging of our laptops, cameras, and drone batteries, and we ran to local copyshops way too many times to get things printed last-minute for embassies and visa applications. All of that would have been unnecessary if we had the knowledge beforehand.

What can we talk about?

We can talk about anything overland-related. For example:

• Visas; arranging them at home or while on the road
• Water filtration and accessibility in Africa
• Mechanical knowledge and the need for spare parts
• The actual build of your dream vehicle
• Destinations
• Practicalities on the road
• Working on the road
• Traveling with a dog
• Camp cooking
• Uncertainties that you’re dealing with (yes we know, friends and family who’ve never traveled can cause plenty of that)
• And everything else that might come to mind

Why us?

There are probably more than a dozen couples currently in Africa, doing the same thing we do. Include countries like Australia or the USA and you’ll have a long list of people overlanding who know their fair share about this lifestyle.

But, not many overland full-time and especially not on the African continent – with a dog. Besides that, we only got here after visiting dozens of European countries too. We have been doing this for 12+ years in over 55 countries. Simply put, there aren’t that many of us who you can ask the right questions. Of course, we will also ask relevant questions in return, and we will help you shape your journey correctly and point you in the right direction for a successful trip.

Alongside that, we are more than happy to open our book of stories to inform and inspire you about our travels. Traversing the jungle of Gabon with a broken engine, for example, wasn’t the greatest thing that happened and it could have easily been prevented.
