Soon, he asked his friends to add some of their favorite songs to the USB stick, so that each time he would get in the car with his friends, they would all have some songs that they liked themselves. The result has become a list full of songs (572 songs to be precise) to which he now listens endlessly.
While writing this, Rafiki, Tobias, and Manon are traveling through Africa. Together we decided that there should be one ultimate list with the songs most sung. An ultimate list of songs to sing along to while overlanding. So, here we go! A list of our favorite songs which you can now add to your own list to sing in the car.

Listening to just 26 songs on repeat is definitely not what makes a road trip worthwhile. Therefore, this list is for sure not definite. We will keep on adding songs to the list so that you can listen to our favorites – which hopefully one day become your favorites too. As you can see we currently have a very diverse list with songs for epic landscapes as well as for moments of dancing and laughter. It’s up to you to choose the best songs for the moment you are experiencing.
Oh, and if you have any suggestions for songs that we do have to listen to – your own favorites for example – please let us know! Although the list above keeps us going most days, we look forward to expanding our list!
