What is Patreon?

The Patreon Platform is made for creators and their communities. It offers creators like us the chance to publish exclusive content that’s only available to their subscribers. We believe the platform ignites creativity on the creator’s side and enables the community to show support for their favorite creators.

It means we are expanding our projects, and will launch premium content that’s exclusively accessible on our Patreon Account. We will work with four different bundles (tiers) with different benefits.

What are we launching on Patreon?

In this premium space of Patreon, we will share exclusive content made for you. We will share even more than on social media, as it is your support on Patreon that keeps us on the road. We can’t wait to return the favor with all that’s to come. So, what’s up? We are launching four different bundles: Desert, Savanna, Bush, and Jungle! Each bundle is a more elaborate version of the one before. The more you pledge each month, the more content and interaction you get.

You get exclusive access to our monthly recipes, favorite locations, and more. We will publish our newest blogs, reviews, and tips on Patreon first, and provide you with huge expedition updates long before anyone else knows about them. But that’s not all, we are also launching two massive projects: The Rafiki Rooftop Recordings podcast and our community Group Calls!

These two projects are going to be so cool, and so different from anything else! With our Rooftop Recordings, you get a personal and informative insight into our lives and travels, as we will cover a range of topics. The first episode is available for free to all members (you only need to sign in), and we will dive into who we are. In the coming period, we’ll dive into all topics, ranging from Rafiki’s build to how we met, and from travel with a dog to combining remote travel with work.

The Group Calls are another game-changer! The overland community is strong and we believe that we can make it even stronger – and more personal – by engaging in group calls with fellow travel enthusiasts. The group calls are available to all subscribers from the Savanna, Bush, and Jungle bundles, and will be held once a month. In it we all get to know each other, you get to ask questions and we discuss each other’s travel plans. It’s all about helping and inspiring each other, and creating this awesome Rafiki community!
